Just a few cute photos

Most of what I do these days involve eating, sleeping, or having my diaper (a.k.a. nappy) changed. Occasionally I break out a smile as is evident in the photo with my mom.

Two weeks old... and gaining weight!

I was two weeks old on Tuesday and went to Dr Halpin for my scheduled check-up. I weighed in at 9 lbs 3 oz, which means I've gained almost one ounce per day. Cool!
My favorite baseball team, the Oakland A's, made it to the 2006 playoffs on Tuesday, so Dad and I will have a few more weeks of basebal to watch. Go A's!

Ryder Cup & Silicon Valley Walkabout

Early this morning my dad and I watched Europe beat the US convincingly in the Ryder Cup. I think Sergio Garcia and Paul Casey were the stars of the tournament. Later on we went on a walkabout through a small part of the Silicon Valley that I was born in. We stopped at Google's HQ for a photo where I wore the Google beanie that my Aussie neighbors , Andrew and Sarah, gave me. After that we stopped at Starbucks for a cup of coffee and walked across the street to the Computer History Museum. Then we went for a nice long stroll alongside Shoreline Lake.

One week old!

To celebrate my 1-week birthday, mommy dressed me in a "Vintage 2006" outfit that aunt Mandy made for me. My first week was full of new adventures and I got to meet many new people. I think I'm going to like it on the outside!

My first bath

I enjoyed my first bath this morning and it was rather enjoyable. Afterwards mommy and daddy took me to see Dr Halpin. She's a pediatrician at El Camino Hospital and will be making sure I grow according to plan and stay healthy. She weighed me and I was 8 lbs 4 oz today, which is slightly less than what I weighed at birth, but apparently this is perfectly normal.

Friends & Family

This afternoon we posed for an impromptu "family portrait".
Friends also came by to visit me today... Rachelle, Heidi, Erin and baby Grant. I received sooooooo much attention it was awesome!

Going Home...

Here I am with mom and dad leaving El Camino Hospital shortly after 11am this morning. It was a short ride home and as you can see I fit quite nicely into my car seat. It feels great being home for the first time.

Well, this is me! I like being "on the outside" so far and hanging out with my mom and dad. They really like me too, so I think we're going to do great!
