The end of an era

Today was a pretty special day for me & Mommy. It was Mommy's last day working at Stanford and my last day at Daycare. Starting tomorrow we get to spend a whole lot more time together which is great (see the smile on my face?). We have a few busy weeks ahead as we begin packing for the move to our new house. I am very excited about having a back yard to play in and a pool, especially sice summer is around the corner. Dad also took a photo of Mommy showing off my soon-to-be brother. At this stage Mommy is 27 weeks pregnant.

Camping in Yosemite

We went camping in Yosemite this past weekend with the Svendsens and the Sinclair-Lees. I had the best time - I could play in the dirt and throw rocks in the river. My mom kept saying this is not real camping because we slept in heated tent cabins but I think it was necessary seeing that there was still snow on the mountains!

I love Elmo!

We had our first real taste of summer this weekend. I am told I am quite fearless when it comes to swimming, so my dad thought it best to buy me swim gear to help me be safe. But, come on, dad! This is a bit extreme!
Other than swimming, we played at the park this morning. We went before 9am because it is going to be super hot today again. I just love my new Elmo shirt!

More visitors!

My uncle Willem and aunt Esther came to visit last week and I had so much fun getting to know them better. I last saw them when I was 3 months old, so I had a lot of new tricks I wanted to show them. I was practicing for the longest time and am finally able to say my name!
I still had to go to school during the week, so I missed the trip to the wine country and San Francisco, but at least they took me to Stanford's Rudin garden and shopping over the weekend.
