Crazy 'bout Cape Town

This colourful "Crazy 'bout Cape Town" T-shirt my aunt Linda sent me from Cape Town and I looooove it! My buddy Grant and his mom and dad, the Svendsens, came over for dinner this week and we had a good time playing. Our weekend was spent mostly at home, and I learned how to throw all my toys out of the box so I can get inside myself!

Sports Illustrated Harvett Edition

Team Harvett has been selected to participate in the first ever intercontinental basefootsocball tournament in Toronto from 15-21 September. Here is our official team photo. Dad is the base-man, I am the foot-boy and Mom is the soc-girl. We'll be back to post another picture with our gold medals some time soon. If you want to be one of the first people to get my autograph, please send a $100 check and a stamped, self-addressed envelope to my mailing address. This will also automatically enter you into a draw where you can win a 2007 Hyundai VeraCruz.

Fremont reunion

Long before I was born my parents lived in Fremont and made some wonderful friends. Today was special because the Svendsens were visiting from a far-off place called South Carolina, so we all got together at Lake Elizabeth for a late-afternoon picnic. Apparently these adults used to hang out a lot before us kids came to town. Now their lives have been enriched and forever changed by us "small people".

It happened at the County Fair

That's right...! I got to see some real live farm animals this weekend. Mom and Dad took me to the San Mateo County fair where I saw cows, pigs, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ponies and even a camel. How sweet is that? Next year I'll be able to ride the pony!

11 Months old!

I am 11 months old today! I am crawling all over the place, love to stand and climbed up 3 steps on Friday. Every now and then, I get too excited when I am standing up and forget to hold on. Then I fall over, but Mommy said that happens to the best of us! Eating is still my favorite thing to do, and I love everything my Mom’s makes for me. I need all the energy I can get to keep the engines going at full speed.

Having a good time

I look so sharp in the t-shirt my Aunt Linda sent from Cape Town. I have wanted to wear it for the longest time, and I am finally big enough. Snack time has also achieved new levels of fun, now that I can help myself.

Lazy Sunday afternoons

....... It was a fun weekend, filled with long naps, walks and good health! Dad watched the Oakland A's play baseball on Saturday, and was disappointed that he did not see Barry Bonds hit his 755th home run live on Saturday evening. The reason we did not watch baseball on Saturday evening, was that we had dinner at Kem and Lin's place. I stayed up until 10pm watching the grown-ups play Wii computer games. I have never stayed up that late before and I did not even turn into a pumpkin. On Sunday we just rested and enjoyed the Californian summer.
