H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N

Halloween is awesome! I dressed up as a penguin and my current walk style really matched my outfit well... This morning at school all my teachers, friends and their parents joined us for a Halloween parade. I've never walked so much in a single day. This evening I wore my penguin suit again and went trick-or-treating. My ghost bag was filled with candy that I'm sure dad will enjoy!

Halloween & an Earthquake!

Tomorrow is halloween and I could not believe how much fun the grown-ups were having last weekend carving pumpkins and taking scary photos. The other bit of excitement is that I experience my first "big" earthquake tonight! It measured 5.6 on the Richter scale... pretty BIG! Here is some information on it! Wikipedia describes earthquakes of this magnitude as "Can cause major damage to poorly constructed buildings over small regions. At most slight damage to well-designed buildings." Only 800 quakes of this magnitude (5.0 to 6.0) occur each year. To tell the truth - I slept through it - but mom and dad were impressed and just a little frightened...

Haircut & Rugby

I had my second official haircut this morning, just in time for the BIG rugby game - South Africa vs England in the 2007 Rugby World Cup final. As you can see - I'm dressed for the occasion. GO SPRINGBOKS!!!!

Birthday parties!

My social life is really taking off - I was invited to two birthday parties this weekend AND I celebrated my 13 month birthday by walking! Yeah!

It was Jadyn's first birthday on the 9th and we had a wonderful breakfast with the Pattersons and Griffins. I never realized that pancakes hot off the griddle can taste so good.

We celebrated Josh's third birthday at the My Gym in San Jose. It was such a cool thing to do on the first weekend I can walk. In this picture, Liam is hanging out with me in the ball pit.

Almost!

I love moving around and soon I will be going full speed. I gave 4 steps today on my own, trying to reach our neighbours' cat, Qusay. I came so close.....
