Let's party!

It's been a long week, with me first cutting tooth number 7 (finally!) then having a fever for a couple of days which turned into an ear infection - in both ears! It is day 5 of the antibiotics and things are starting to look a lot better. And just in time because it was Alex Griffin's first birthday party this morning and our neighbor, Isabel had her 3rd birthday party this evening. It was a good thing that I took a 3 1/2 hour nap in between.

Isabel invited us to a Little Gym and I had so much fun playing on all the exercise equipment and with all the 3-year olds running around.

I am out sick this week and not able to update my blog. To all my fans out there, I hope to have something fun to tell you next week.

Better weather!

The weather was much better this weekend but still a bit chilly by California standards. So I spent a lot of time inside reading books, solving puzzles and playing with my toys. Dad and I also watch football and we were pleased to see San Diego beat Indianapolis!
I am down to taking only one nap a day usually for about 2 hours some time between noon and 3pm. And my parents are happy that I sleep until 7am most mornings. Sleeping is the best thing to do when it is cold and rainy and we've been having quite a bit of that lately.
I can identify and point to most of my body parts now... a DVD called Baby Da Vinci helped a lot and mom & dad make me practice all the time... "heads, shoulders, knees & toes...

This past week

We visited the Rubows last weekend and it was so much fun to play with Sully and of course, Sierra, their little pug. Sully is crawling over the place and can stand up as well. I am looking forward to running around with him pretty soon!

We had our first big winter storm this past weekend - I even stayed home with my mom on Friday because the daycare's electricity was knocked out. My dad and I surveyed the storm damage on Saturday morning and it was pretty impressive to see all the knocked down trees and streams flowing strong.
