What a fun weekend!

My mom's friend from school, Karen and her husband Morne were visiting this weekend. The weather was wonderful! We had breakfast in Santa Cruz, played in the Pacific and we even went for a swim in the pool!

Easter egg hunting.

We joined Abigail and Chase Hooper at Los Gatos' Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning. I was able to chase real bunnies around at the petting zoo and then collected a whole basket full of eggs. I know it is still a week until Easter, but my mommy also baked hot cross buns for us - delicious!
On Sunday we played at the park - and with the weather so beautiful, I could wear my t-shirt from Kalamazoo! Thank you Clara for teaching me about geography because if it was not for your mom and dad, I would never have known that there really is a Kalamazoo (in Michigan).

Now I know my ABC's...

I recently discovered letters and letter-sounds and that is the coolest thing ever. You see them on the license plates of cars, on the side of trucks and at the shops. Letters are everywhere and I can say the sound of 14 of them!

Spring is here!

No more playing inside, like I had to do this past week. I played most of today outside - I splashed with my feet in the water at the pool and spent hours at the park. As you can see from the photo of me in my ball box, I had some excitement at school this past week. I fell from a bench onto the concrete on Thursday and still have a very impressive bruise.
